Contemporary Wood-Inspired Character
Bring warmth, contrast, and architectural depth to an interior with the Oak & Black acoustic wood wall panel. The linear slat design forms a dimensional surface, while the visible oak veneer and black acoustic backing create a refined contemporary appearance. Its 1-sided veneer construction provides a finished look across the visible face of the slats.
Decorative Acoustic Performance
The panel combines decorative design with sound-absorbing performance to help control noise, echoes, and reverberation in appropriate interior spaces. It can contribute to a more comfortable acoustic environment while adding visual texture to walls or ceilings. As a sound-absorbing treatment, it should not be considered a complete sound-isolation system.
Designed for Interior Projects
This 8 ft panel measures 23.5 inches wide x 94.5 inches high. It covers 15.42 sq. ft. and weighs 23 lbs. Each box contains 4 panels, delivering 61.68 sq. ft. of total coverage with a box weight of 92 lbs.
The wood-inspired finish works across residential and commercial interiors, including living rooms, bedrooms, TV walls, home theaters, media rooms, offices, conference rooms, reception areas, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, showrooms, studios, and lobbies. Use it to define a feature wall, create an accent surface, or continue the linear design across an appropriate ceiling.
Plan the Layout for a Cohesive Finish
Position the slats vertically to emphasize height or horizontally to guide the eye across the room. Before mounting, plan the full layout and dry-position the panels to review orientation, alignment, adjoining joints, corners, and perimeter edges. Consistent placement helps maintain continuous slat lines across multiple panels.
Where fitting is required, measure carefully and use cutting tools appropriate for the veneer slats and acoustic backing. Plan the treatment of exposed cuts, inside corners, outside corners, and final joints as part of the overall design. Select compatible adhesives or fasteners according to the mounting surface, panel construction, and panel weight, taking particular care with overhead applications.
Care for the Finished Surface
Preserve the visible veneer with routine light dusting and cleaning methods appropriate for veneer surfaces. Avoid saturating the finished face or acoustic backing. Careful handling during storage, cutting, and installation will also help protect the slat edges and visible surface.
